Bullets ZALA for smooth-bore firearm
ZALA  12-32

The front part of the bullet is made of lead – antimony alloy. The bullet has the front conical part, cylindrical casing with side slots, centering ring, and the tip. Being covered with polymer.

The tip is made of polymer and consists of stabilizing fin and gas check. Stabilizing fin and gas check have a shape of plate: stabilizing fin – from the bottom, and gas check – from the top. The gas check has a part for powder.

Specification data for the bullet:

  • Bullet diameter at the centering ring – 18,53+0,004 mm;
  • Total height of the bullet (inc. the tip) -41+1,0 mm;
  • The weight of the bullet -32 +;-0,5 gr.(100 % bullet weight is established by the means of electronic weigher.

The bullets are packed into carton boxes by 500 pcs./box.

ZALA SPORT 12-28

The front part of the bullet is made of lead – antimony alloy. The bullet has a front conical part, cylindrical casing with side slots, centering ring, and the tip. Being covered with polymer.

The front part of the bullet casing has a cone-type protruding element, in the center of which there is a sag. Thanks to this tag the possibility of ricochet is reduced and fighting the power of the bullet are increased.

The tip is made of polymer and consists of stabilizing fin and gas check. Stabilizing fin and gas check have a shape of plate: stabilizing fin – from the bottom, and gas check – from the top. The gas check has a part for powder.

Specification data for the bullet:

  • Bullet diameter at the centering ring – 18,53+0,004 mm;
  • Total height of the bullet (inc. the tip) -39+1,0 mm;
  • The weight of the bullet -28 +;-0,5 gr.(100 % bullet weight is established by the means of electronic weigher.

The bullets are packed into carton boxes by 500 pcs./box.

At the time of shot the bullet works as follows:

Powder gas pressure acts on the gas check and it is compressed, the plate-type stabilizing fin and gas check, due to their flexibility, seal against each other (absorb), their diameter increases and they seal against the case walls in the firearm seat – this prevent the powder gas leakage, protects the bullet from deformation when the bullet is going out of the case to the bore along which it travels with slight  tension, resistance. Shock absorbers play and additional role of a gas check, increase the speed of bullet when it is traveling along the bore. At the time of shot the plate-type shock absorber reduces pressure in the firearm seat and bore, in such a way barrel vibration, which is inevitable at the time of the shot, is reduced. Reduction of vibration increases the accuracy of fire.

BUllet tests:

When testing the bullets ZALA -12-32 and ZALA-12-28 it was established that their deformation is slight and ricocheting minimum. The use of new technology stabilizing fin and gas check allows reducing powder pressure in the firearm seat and bore at the time of shot as well as vibration and recoil what results in increased accuracy of fire comparing to its’ analogs.

Bullet construction makes its’ loading easier and more economical because the bullet is put directly on the powder. When shooting from firearms with the bores up to 1.0 mm from the distance of 50 meters dispersion of the bullet ZALA-12-28 is 2-3 cm and 4-5 cm of ZALA-12-32.
